June 2013

Half way through the year already!  Crafting again at Gail's today completed the latest in the series of Tim Holtz's 12 tags of 2013.  I love how we can both work on them together but get an individual look.  We share our supplies, ideas and food of course and always have FUN!

recycle-reuse-rejoice

I saw this on facebook today and had to make one straight away!  I covered an old GLAD Press N Seal wrap box, not sure if there are alternative boxes but because this one is refillable, the white plastic ends can be be pulled from the roller to thread on the washi tapes. Simples.

Continuing the 12 tags of 2013, Gail and I spent the most magnificent Autumn afternoon - indoors! Happily crafting away...

Latest obsession

Thanks to Ro Bruhn I can't stop creating little flowers on the reverse side of envelopes. Today I took it a big step further and drew this garden on a dictionary page! Where will it end?

Gelli painting

With the use of Trish's plate and Marg's tuition I printed my little heart out last night!  I couldn't quite get the leaves to leave an impression so I brayered them with white paint today to finish off.

a new era...

It's been nearly 2 years since I have accessed any blogs let alone my own, and facebook is to blame!  I still craft and I still spend way too much time on my laptop but there are so many good things about facebook too!

Which brings me to Tim Holtz!  For many years I have wanted to do his 12 Tags of Christmas, every year I make great plans but with Christmas being such a busy time, especially when you make all your own cards etc I have never done them.  And then....facebook brought me to Tim's 12 tags of 2013.  (Of course there were tags in 2012 but I managed to miss them)  One tag a month - too easy.  And it is so exciting to finish one and wait, in anticipation, of the next month.

And so I am sharing April 2012.  Patina patina patina.  Love it, very proud of my tag and love too, spending time making them with Gail.
