I haven' t felt like blogging for ages but life goes on and cards have to be made.

House Book

My final Lace page arrived this morning from Nikki, beautifully decorated, front and back. I can't say my book is finished now because Nikki included a lovely story behind her page and I have to incorporate that into my book somehow. I wish I had written my thoughts down too when doing other pages.

Crafty Mums

Got together on Friday and some of us made Mother's Day cards, I made my aubergine house for Somerset Studio submission. Yesterday I made Adam's birthday card, I can't believe I have a 22 year old child! Time flies when you're having fun!

I must remember to never photograph on a craft mat again! Not a good look.

Look Good Feel Better

Michelle and I did a fantastic beauty workshop on Tuesday. It is an initiative of the cosmetics industry to assist women during Cancer treatments. All of the products were donated and we got to keep them after spending the morning learning how to use them. We were also shown how to use scarves, head coverings and even try on a few wigs. (I hope those photos don't surface!) The dozen or so who attended certainly looked and felt a lot better on leaving. And my girls were very happy to see what I had brought home in my goody bag.
